Vehicle Test Centre (FVZ)

For testing/development services, parameterization, method and model development, a continuous tool chain for the inspection and testing of components, systems and complete vehicles is available in cooperation with the Chair of Automotive Engineering at the TU Dresden. This test centre provides a unique set of instruments for basic to application-oriented research and development in vehicle technology, including the associated parameterization and simulation methods. This also includes the necessary data acquisition and evaluation and comprises: 

System Test Rigs such as:
    • Axle Carrier, Chassis
    • Driveline
    • Kinematics & Compliance
Component Test Rigs for:
    • Sensors
    • Tires (longitudinal, slip, lateral Dynamics, … incl. Load Simulation)
    • Brakes ( Flywheel Mass Test Bench)
    • Suspension Struts (1-axle up to 3-axle Excitation)
    • Elastomeric Bearings (Engine -, Axle Suspension, …)
Complete Vehicle Test Rigs such as:
    • Drive System
    • Kinematics & Compliance
